Free Dental Supplies for Students
All children deserve access to proper dental care. That’s why we provide free dental supplies, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, and hygiene kits, to students across King County. These essential tools help kids establish good oral hygiene practices early on. Our Dental Health Kits include: Four toothbrushes One tube of toothpaste Dental Floss (two). Trifold brochure - Education links through QR codes are provided in a multi-lingual format.
Join the BrightStart Champions
Students! Become a BrightStart Champion and help make a difference in your school! BSC (Bright Start Champions) help us by distributing our dental health kits to students in their schools.
Building Brighter Futures Through Partnership
BrightStart Initiative thrives on collaboration. By partnering with local schools, community leaders, and dental professionals, we aim to create a network of support around children’s oral health. Together, we can tackle disparities and promote the well-being of all families in King County. Our support base includes dentists from our community as well as donations from dental supply companies in our regions.

Our mission goes beyond individual smiles; we aim to create a healthier community. We bring awareness to the importance of oral health, helping to ensure every child has the resources and encouragement they need to thrive. Excellent oral health is strongly correlated to overall health.
Fewer missed days
Students who develop excellent oral hygiene habits early in life have better school attendance, due to fewer missed days needed for professional dental visits. Additionally having significant dental needs early in life also means a lifetime of more necessary dental treatment. Establishing excellent habits early in life leads to improved dental and overall health outcomes for all students.
